Continuing to teach at the Ecole d'Humanité

Tuesday, 17. March 2020

Following the Federal Council's decision at the end of last week that all Swiss schools will be closed from 16 March 2020 until further notice, the Ecole d'Humanité also sent its students home.

All of them have their new Chromebooks in their luggage, and so teaching can partly continue online until the planned end of term. So this time also the course selection for the summer term will take place online – the teachers and Deans of Academics are currently working on switching everything over to "digital"! It is intended that the students will log in up to 45 minutes per morning course a day on Google Classroom to access the assignments for their courses or to participate in online lessons. The end of classes will be this Friday 20 March 2020.

The Ecole d'Humanité is working at full speed on possible scenarios for summer term, where distance learning will certainly remain an issue. We will keep you up to date, further information will follow at the end of March.
