Loot
by Joe Orton
Loot, written by the British plawriter, Joe Orton, is about the corruption of authority and the power of money.
Two teenage boys Hal [Maddy Wilson] and Dennis [Berenike Falk] rob a local ank and after realizing that the police are hot on ther trail, they decide to hide the money in the coffin of Hal's recently deceased mother. However, when two strange men [Bob Payne and Kathrin Gilbert] who say they're from the waterboard show up, it becomes clear that theft is not the only crime which has been committed under this roof. Suddenly, Hal's father, Mr. McLeavy [Rowan Hill] and the nurse, Fay McMahon [Katie McLaughlin] are suspected of murdering Mrs. McLeavy.
The plot thickens. By the end, you may not know who's guilty and who's innocent anymore, but you certainly know who's in charge: the Money.
